The Sukhoi Su-25, NATO named "Frogfoot," is a single-seat twin-engine Soviet aircraft designed for close air support of Ground Forces. Its first flight occurred on 22nd Feb 1975, followed by series production in 1978 at Tbilisi, Soviet Republic of Georgia. Nicknamed "Grach" (Rook) by Russian forces, this aircraft was developed by Sukhoi Design Bureau within the USSR.
