For this school assignment, our teacher assigned us the theme of "pirate ship" with a twist - we had to learn how to create one object using two different materials. As an enthusiast of organic designs and mythology in general, I decided to deviate from the theme and opt for a stylized Viking boat instead. The shapes and style of my project were heavily influenced by a game franchise that holds a special place in my heart: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. To achieve the desired textures, I employed masks and filters within Substance Painter to replicate the look and feel of hand-painted artwork. This project turned out to be surprisingly enjoyable to complete!
