Stylized City Bus
sketchfab
A bespoke bus design crafted specifically for the Extra Credits Game Jam's Non Stop Bus challenge, where my team created an immersive driving experience centered around navigating a city in a bus. The low-poly model boasts an impressive 1,428 triangles, while its high-poly counterpart showcases 18,062, both equipped with 2048x2048 textures (Base Color, Roughness, Metallic, Normal, AO, and Emission) for maximum visual detail. Although smaller resolution textures still yield satisfactory results, the separated meshes for wheels and doors enable seamless animation capabilities. The low-poly bus model is presented in six distinct color variations, along with its base texture and ID Mask to facilitate effortless re-texturing of both high and low poly versions. The file formats included are .blend and .fbx, allowing for flexibility across various platforms. This project was undertaken using Blender and Substance Painter, with retopology executed utilizing Blender 2.8 – a first-time application for a real-world project.
