Hello Everyone! I have returned and with a new computer! I am finally able to 3D model again, putting out these weekly, biweekly, or monthly models. This is the mostly complete pack of the sturmtiger, some refinements are needed but otherwise, most of the pack is done. Essentially it has a sturmtiger with a traversable turret and openable hatches, if you print smaller than 1/100, then a rigid model that is easier and sturdier to print is available too. IMPORTANT: Once the gun is inserted, it cannot be pulled out! This also likely does not work with anything smaller than 1-100 scale. so be patient in when I upload the solid versions. Also the gun can be loaded. Assembly goes as follows Insert the gun mount into the chassis (Put inside, push hard until the ball clicks into the slots) Aim the ball mount opening upwards at about a 45 degree angle Take the gun and turn it sideways (The pegs on the sides should be horizontal) From the front of the chassis, insert the rear of the gun as far down as you can go into the gun ball mount (Ensure the ball mount opening is pointing at an angle upwards) Once all the way in, twist the gun into the correct orientation (The pegs of the gun should be sitting on the rear of the ball mount) Once in the correct orientation, align the pegs with the slots in the rear of the ball mount, then pull as hard as you can. The gun should slip into place. Test gun movement. Place roof. Place hatches (It should sit on top, NOT fit in tightly) The smaller hatch should have a little loop on the bottom, either use tape or a string to secure it. The crane comes in two types, rigid and non-rigid, any scale smaller than 1/100 should NOT print the non-rigid, it is meant to have a steel//copper/aluminum/ etc wire less than .8mm fit inside of it so that it could turn. The cranes with loops are supposed to have string able to be put in, its challenging to print so I don't not recommend unless you are using an SLA printer. The turret has ~60+/2- degrees of elevation and ~7 degrees of traverse in both sides.
