Human: Spool_holder2REDES.stl is now a top-notch version. It prints as one solid .stl file without any supports. My CAD skills have significantly improved, so I decided it was time for an upgrade. This design was created using Inventor software. I made sure to correct the triangles in the stl files, and the print photos show the updated version. The plug rod screws together with the disk nut to securely hold the spool on the spindle. The weight of the spool provides extra stability as well. Spool_holder2REDES.stl fits every brand of filament spool I've tried, including Taulman, Hatchbox, Sainsmart, Amolen, eSun, and 3D Solutech. A piece of adhesive Velcro keeps it in place on top of the tevo tornado's control box. Initially, I used a couple of rubber bands, but I switched to Velcro for an easier way to remove it if needed.
