Sturdy Leg With Adjustable Foot For Square Printers
thingiverse
I really loved the original design, but I didn't have a Kossel printer, I had a custom-built printer with 90-degree angles. Since it was readily available, I used a 1/4-20 hex bolt and nut in place of the original hardware. One more trick that I employed: I printed the foot's pad with NinjaFlex. I was able to do this by first printing the foot pad with PLA and the nut's cavity facing the build plate. Then I sliced the Ninjaflex pad separately at 1mm height, and manually adjusted the z-axis value in the GCode file by the foot pad's printed height, and it worked! I now have an integrated grippy ninjaflex pad on the bottom of my sturdy foot. I've also included the SolidWorks 2014 files if anyone wants to further experiment with this model.
