Furthermore, these adjustable legs had to be crafted with precision. A vital component of this leg is the adjustable foot, secured by a 1/4-20 x 1 inch hex bolt – although an M6 threaded rod would likely suffice. To prevent any possibility of this crucial piece falling out, I used a soldering iron to melt and firmly secure its edges in place. Complementing the sturdy foundation provided by the bolt, I integrated a non-slippery anti-skid pad with a 1-inch diameter from Home Depot. This thoughtful addition guarantees the printer remains steadfast, refraining from any unwanted sliding or movement during operation.
