Sturdy and stable foldable Phone stand - easy print

thingiverse

This compact phone stand boasts exceptional sturdiness and stability, making it ideal for holding even the largest smartphones on the market while watching your favorite videos. It can also be easily carried around in bags and purses due to its remarkably small size. I enhanced Alvinchohun's design, which I appreciate, by replacing the hinges with 3x12mm screws (0.118 x 0.47 inch), resolving tolerance issues caused by my budget-friendly printer and the risk of disassembly while carrying it around. The printing process is now faster and more convenient. INSTRUCTIONS: -The "Base," "Stand," and "Center" files can be printed together without support, and to expedite the printing procedure, I used up to 0.3mm layer height. Infill density can be set to 40% or lower. -The "Flaps" file must be printed separately twice due to its need for a certain amount of Brim, but it can still be printed at 0.3mm layer height and with infill densities as low as 40%. -To assemble the phone stand, simply screw everything together using six 3x12mm screws (ensure that the head isn't too large, or it won't fit; I found the Standers from Leroy Merlin to work perfectly). -Your phone stand is now ready for use.
