Next, use a sharp center punch followed by a precise center drill to pre-drill each hole prior to enlarging them with appropriately-sized drills (a 3mm drill bit and an 8mm drill bit were used in this project). A high-speed steel 6mm milling cutter effectively created the counterbore required for optimal results. To create the central bore, a robust HSS milling cutter with a diameter of 25mm was used, while the adjacent groove was milled out using a 20mm HSS milling tool. Finally, accurately machine the mounting bracket's outer edges to their specified dimensions on the drawing and delicately round off any sharp corners on a power disc sander.
