Stump RC Comparison IPhone5/6/Canon70d Hello everyone, I recently put Reality Capture software to the test using a few different devices. With each device, I captured 200 photos of the same stump. The shooting process took around 25-35 minutes for all three devices. Unfortunately, I don't have a color calibration table yet, so I relied on auto mode with my iPhones and used manual settings with my Canon d70. I paired the Canon with an AV setting, a tripod, and the EFS 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens for optimal results. In terms of post-production, creating high-poly and low-poly models took me approximately 25 minutes of net work time. The Reality Capture reconstruction process averaged around 3 hours per device, while texture calculation in 3ds Max took about 10 hours to complete for all three devices.
