StuG III s - 1/200 scale - Dime Sized Stugs!

This a a collection of Stug IIIs (Sturmgeschütz IIIs ) in 1:200 scale. The Stugs pictured are left to right 1:285 Stug III Ausf B, 1:200 Stugs Ausf A, B, C, E, F, F8 and finally a Stug 1:285 Ausf B..I tried printing TigerAce1945's most excellent Stug pack at 1:200 scale, but the tracks were very thin and broke off whenever my clumsy fingers tried to clean away the supports.So I took an inspiration from m_bergman's work and created simple versions. I took TigerAce1945's models, shrunk them down, reoriented them, beefed up the inside of the tracks and lower suspension (M_Bergman style) where you really can't see it at 1:200 scale and Voila: Dime Sized Stugs!The files named "simple" have all the added structure. The others files are just the 1:100s scaled down and reoriented. For the Stug Fs, the barrels are also beefed up (m_bergman style), as 1:200 Stug barrels are just to thin to stand up to traveling around in a Plano storage box. Currently this consists of Stugs Ausf A, B, C, E, F and F8. For a Stug G I recommend downloading m_bergman's 1:200 Tanks and Vehicles, 1944-45 (thing 232248) as he has several excellent, simple options for the Stug III Gs, including Schurzen. update 1-27-2024. These models do work for 1:285 scale on a DLP printer. In fact, the support cleanup is even easier at 1:285 scale.
