#StuG BuG ##This is What You Get When You Combine a Popular Automobile with a German Anti-Tank Vehicle First, this model, _StuG BuG_, is based on no real vehicle at all - it's a complete mash-up of one of the world's most popular cars, the Volkswagen Beetle ("Bug"), and a German anti-tank/assault vehicle, Sturmgeschütz ("StuG"), used during World War II. The result of this "marriage" is an incredible tour-de-force model. Designed in about 1:28 scale, the StuG BuG includes several exciting features: - Movable wheels - Highly-detailed engine - Hatches that can be posed open or closed - Logo-themed wheel hubs - Beetle-inspired frontal armor - a front bonnet, actually - Steerable front suspension [*Note:* this is an experimental feature adapted from a common steering method used by Revell Models for their plastic car model kits. If you're unable to make a working front end, just cement the entire assembly together and build a fixed suspension.] - Monster-sized rear axle risers - Customizable options for the entire model There are two recommended types of cement for assembling your StuG BuG: - Testors Liquid Cement for Plastic Models #3507 - Tamiya Extra Thin Cement Quick-Setting #87182 Refer to the included photographs/drawings for building your StuG BuG model. Please note, however, that this is a fictitious vehicle, so there's no "correct" construction sequence. Build it with your own personal touch. There's enough variety in many of the StuG STL components that you can easily embellish the final model with whatever appearance you desire. Enjoy.
