Stuff Dreams Are Made Of

I grew up loving the movie "Explorers", a thrilling adventure that combined the excitement of "Goonies" with the otherworldly wonder of "Flight of the Navigator". The story revolves around kids building a space ship out of a Tilt-a-whirl car, an idea that sparked my imagination. Although I haven't been able to find or create a replica of their spaceship for printing yet, I decided to design this small gemstone crystal from the movie's ending - the treasure that one character retrieves from an alien being. Since the film doesn't provide a clear view of it, I took some creative liberties by using the design of the missing circuit board as its inner detail. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. The crystal halves are printed in transparent pla, while the inner details are depicted in translucent green. To keep everything aligned, four tiny tabs fit into notches within the crystal part. However, you'll need to add your own lighting effect to bring it to life. While I'm happy to share my designs here for people to print and enjoy as part of their personal collections, please refrain from making them for commercial purposes.
