Study Shield

Our design, ‘Study Shield’, is a product that allows for students and teachers to work in close proximity to each other. The transparent polypropylene sheets block any particles that would be spread from breathing, sneezing and coughing, giving students their own small quarantine zone to work in and keep safe from others, whilst still being able to see any smart boards or resources the teachers are using to teach, see and talk to each other, and allows for the teacher to monitor them all and make sure they are behaving and staying on task. It includes the ability to fold up for transportation and storage, and both the polypropylene and the aluminium framing provide a lighter weight to enhance this feature, as well as being easy to clean and maintain hygienic standards. The suction cups on the bottom allow it to surpass any similar products on the market which only include a singular sized gap for the attachment mechanism and can therefore only be used on one size of table, whilst ours fits any and is easy to fasten and take off.
