Study of a VARIABLE GEOMETRY into a paraglider canopy

This tool enhances safety in hot-air climbing inflatable canopies while providing exceptional short landing capabilities. It was one of my early projects, successfully tested during flight (believers must prove their ideas, even at the risk of danger). Theoretically, reducing the projected surface leads to increased speed, both V (along trajectory) and W (vertical component). The test flight was remarkable, with a peculiar sensation as the profile folded perfectly in the air. However, maximum speed wasn't elevated as anticipated. I neglected to evaluate the effect of pulling the pulley, which altered the wing warpage. Presently, I have discovered a new method to improve this investigation's performance without increasing drag from lines. Unfortunately, I lack time for further testing and have already applied for a patent.
