Studio Monitor / Speaker Stand
thingiverse
My take on a pretty simple yet stylish stand for speakers and studio monitors is complete. The files are designed around KRK Rokit 5 studio monitors but should be able to resize them to fit nearly any bookshelf speaker or studio monitor. I've uploaded 3 variations of the stand. 1. (SpeakerStandNoCenter.stl) A two-part variation without a center, and each side of the stand is free-standing and don't require supports if printed laying down flat, making it the easiest to print. 2. (SpeakerStand2PartsR.stl, SpeakerStand2PartsL.stl) A two-part variation with the center and the two halves snap together and should be glued to make one rigid piece. It shouldn't require supports if printed laying down flat, making it the second-easiest to print. 3. (StudioMonitorStand.stl) The same stand as the 2nd variation but is all in one piece. It should be printed standing up vertically and should only require minimal supports at the build plate to help the beveled edge on the back to keep its shape, making it the most difficult to print. As of right now, I have not test-printed variation 2 so I'm not 100% sure about the tolerances for the joining pieces but they should be fine. If you have issues, let me know and I'll modify the part or remove it all together if it seems to be unpopular.
