Studio Ghibli Nesting Doll

Studio Ghibli Nesting Doll

Like most anime fans, I have a strong appreciation for Studio Ghibli. I first came up with this concept when brainstorming gift ideas for some family members of mine, but it has taken me a while to get around to actually designing the models. For those not familiar (or for those having trouble deciphering my poor artistic rendering), the dolls from largest to smallest are: - **Totoro** (from My Neighbor Totoro, model remixed from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:12146) - **Noface** (from Spirited Away, model created entirely from scratch) - **Jiji the cat** (from Kiki's Delivery Service, model inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:948676) - **Calcifer** (from Howl's Moving Castle, model crafted from scratch) I carefully designed them with enough clearance to fit together while still having enough grip to stick together in a sturdy fashion. If you print them out and find they don't fit together, I am including my Blender file to allow you to tweak the model more easily. I made sure the characters are relatively proportional, which I was mostly successful at, but Jiji ended up being noticeably larger than he should be compared to Noface and Totoro. **UPDATE:** I received feedback that the Jiji connection was too loose, so I uploaded two additional versions of Jiji's head. One with a .5mm gap, and one with a .35mm gap (for reference, the initial model had a .75mm gap)
