Student Pocket Light (Ear Attachment) By Adib Dragneel This project aims to create a portable torchlight that caters specifically to the needs of students who share dorm rooms. The primary challenge these students face is studying at night without disturbing their sleeping roommates. To address this issue, I have designed an ear-attached torchlight that allows students to study hands-free while minimizing disruptions to others in their shared space. This wearable design enables users to keep both hands free for studying or other tasks, making it a convenient solution for late-night study sessions. One might argue that traditional table lamps serve the same purpose as the Student Pocket Light, but there are several reasons why this ear-attached torchlight is still necessary. Firstly, table lamps are not compact enough to fit in pockets, which limits their portability and convenience. Secondly, reading in bed doesn't necessarily require a table lamp; the ear-attached torchlight provides a more focused and directed light source that is perfect for studying or working on small tasks. Thanks for reading!
