Stuck filament pusher
thingiverse
I was fed up with constantly dismantling my extruder whenever filament either ran out or snapped, so I took matters into my own hands and created a simple tool to push the filament through. This handy little gadget is essentially a compact handle featuring a 2mm stainless steel rod that's perfect for the job. Before using it, just cut the rod to the precise length required for your printer and then insert it into the handle. Simply heat up your hot end, position the tool accordingly, and gently push through the filament that's stuck inside. Once you've done this, you'll be able to reload your filament with ease. While I'm not sure how useful this tool will ultimately prove to be, I decided to share it in case others might find it helpful.
