The "Public Transits" prototype was crafted by team "Commuters" during the STTF2013 Summer School, which occurred from July 8th to 13th at ISCTE-IUL in Lisbon. Organized by VitruviusFabLab-IUL and CIES-IUL, this event featured a prototype made of cork agglomerate and wood agglomerate, milled on a CNC machine, with components including an Arduino, LCD display, servomotors, and a paper "manjerico." The prototype was designed to fit within a central column constructed from recycled wood pallets and powered by solar energy.
