The Advanced MP transport model showcases an intricately detailed 3D version of the space shuttle orbiter, alongside its aerodynamic surface model. The shuttle's payload bay and cargo doors open animately, while various components like landing gear, elevons, rudder are also animateable. Constructed nearly to scale, this model includes the spacecraft's exterior, engines, boat tail fairing, and a Boeing 747-100 transport aircraft, which is also near to scale with animatable surfaces such as flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, landing gear, and landing gear doors. Textures are complete for both spacecraft and the Boeing plane, and the model is available in ten different formats. The shuttle program, starting in the late 1950s, lasted from the 1980s to the 2000s, boasting a safe system with only two fatal incidents.
