sketchfab
A potentially monumental Maya ballcourt is revealed in this model of Lot 53 from Sub-operation H at Structures 4 & 5 at Tz'unun in northwestern Belize. The interval photogrammetric survey provides a detailed 3D record of excavations throughout the dig, creating a comprehensive digital archive for documentation and analysis. Crew leaders Kevin Austin from Northeastern University and Carlos Quiroz from Lito graphics spearheaded the excavation effort, while Ben Baaske from Texas A&M University handled photogrammetric documentation under the supervision of Dr. Joshua J. Kwoka at the University of Buffalo.
