This model showcases Lot 125 of Sub-operation P at Structure 21 within the Maya site of Tz'unun in northwestern Belize. Photogrammetric surveys are conducted to record three-dimensional models of excavations throughout the excavation process. This enables a robust digital record of excavations for documentation and interpretation purposes. Crew chief Marie Houghtaling, from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, led the excavation efforts, while Ben Baaske, affiliated with Texas A&M University, handled photogrammetric documentation duties under the supervision of Dr. Joshua J. Kwoka, a University of Buffalo representative. For more information on this project, visit the Center for Heritage Conservation at Texas A&M University: chc.arch.tamu.edu.
