This is part of a series of 30 exercises created through the E3D+VET program. The goal of this Erasmus+ project is total immersion in 3D printing by VET centers (visit: https://www.e3dplusvet.eu/). The model consists of two rectangular bases with central cavities where pillars are inserted, five pairs of pillars - each pair featuring a distinct connection type, and five beams with varying ends for connections. This model has two key functionalities: Show students various types of structural system connections between beams and columns, allowing them to understand the design of these connections as well as see how each part of the structural system fits together through the 3D model. Allow students to test in practice how structural systems work and react under pressure and compression, enabling them to analyze the results and differentiate between each connection type throughout the process.
