Stronger screwball with tighter thread
thingiverse
I'm not entirely happy with the original thread - it seems too loose to me, so I've modified it to make it easier to assemble by increasing the inner thread's diameter by 1mm, which translates to a +0.5mm radius increase. This tweak has also made the design more robust as it was prone to breaking when dropped one too many times. For optimal results, I highly recommend printing this design with PETG material - it provides an excellent balance of strength and glossiness. This modified version remains faithful to JamieLaing's original design, albeit with some minor adjustments. Printed at Seaside 3D in the UK: http://www.seaside3d.com
