Stronger, Harder, Better ATX Backplate REmix
thingiverse
I remixed this when I noticed that the ports rarely reach the top, and the bottom holes just show the PCB anyway. This way it remains a bit stronger.Features:Made a few models with 3 Audio Jacks, and one with 6 jacks.Added a lip at the top to hold in the plateTodo:Tighten up the lip that holds in the backplate, it is loose.Fix 3.5mm jack spacing, I am off by 0.5mm on the middle jack, and a whole 1mm on the top jack. Fairly easy fix. (I "measured" 10.5mm, should have used 11mm on center. If the square hole pattern was moved up by half a hole width I think it might hide the PCB and line up better with the rectangular ports top and bottom.Versions:CLIP: has a top clip and returned some of the motherboard vent holes on the bottom.Audio: Designed for an "Asus Prime Z690M-Plus D4". Should fit boards with jacks that have centers roughly 6.5mm to 11mm from the right edge of IO cutout, 1st jack 10mm up from bottom.Middle Audio: Has jacks offset to the Left for jack center 16-20mm from edge of cutout.Left Audio: Has the jacks offset to the Left for jack center 20-25mm from edge of cutout.Audio 6: Has 6 holes for Audio ports.Blank: for doing your own holes. Also see file "Holes". Import both in your 3D program EG Tinkercad. and put the holes where you like. Add 2 'holes' for 6 jacks or a square cutout for an optical jack etc.Mistakes: Yes
