<p>A 3D printable revised <strong>Garden Tool Handle Joiner </strong>size M16 x 2.0 x50 mm, oriented for a stronger more robust printed part used to join of the MK1 garden tool handle to the garden tool body.&nbsp;</p><p>It applies to the following DanoSoft MK1 Garden Tools:</p><p>- Cultivator (URL: <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/64225-cultivator">https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/64225-cultivator</a> )</p><p>- Rake (URL: <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/63644-rake">https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/63644-rake</a> )</p><p>- Scoop (URL: <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/63521-scoop">https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/63521-scoop</a> )</p><p>The MK1.5 part revision includes adjusted threads, flat orientation on the print bed and new slicing recommendations.</p><p>The part features M16-02 threads incorporated into its design. It can be easily 3D printed, without any support, on a modern inexpensive mid-size 3D Printer. it can be printed with a variety of materials, including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and many other types of printable materials.</p><p>PLA works well for this application as long as the parts will not be used, stored or kept at in a high temperature environment, exceeding ~55 C (~ 130 F).</p><p>PETG is another excellent choice.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Printing Details</strong></p><p><strong>Recommended print settings with a .4 mm nozzle</strong></p><p>- Layer Height: .2 mm</p><p>- 10 perimeters or shells (4.5 ~ 5 mm)</p><p>- 23 bottom layers (4.6 mm)</p><p>- 23 top layers (4.6 mm)</p><p>- Infill 100%</p><p><strong>Assembly Instructions</strong></p><p>1- Insert the M16-02 mm joiner fully in MK1 garden tool handle.</p><p>2- Insert the MK1 handle assembly fully in the garden tool.</p><p>3-Tighten until the handle is seated against the body of the tool.</p><p>4- <strong>DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!</strong></p><p><i><strong>Optional: </strong>A small amount of glue applied to the handle seating area of the tool will permanently join the parts.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></i></p><p>Please feel free to visit my store on My Mini Factory to view the other objects that I designed: <a href="https://www.myminifactory.com/users/DanoSoft">https://www.myminifactory.com/users/DanoSoft</a></p>
