Stronger Collapsing Broadsword (Removable Blade)
thingiverse
From reading the comments, a common problem with the original was the thinness of the handle - especially in the hands of children. All I did was expand the outside of the hilt by 10% while keeping the inside the same to make it stronger. I expanded the button part of the cap to match. I split up the original modded sword to allow for easier printing in different colours too. It came out lovely in Prusa green and silver, Creality Black and eSun copper. See my makes for lots more photos. UPDATE: my son has already managed to break one of the sections on each blade (he's 5) and as I had to make models of a couple of the individual blades - I thought I might as well do them all and add them here. This is quite easy in meshmixer - but not everyone knows how to do this (and it took me a little figuring out as I'm basically teaching myself how to use it). UPDATE 2: I managed to miss out blade 4 in my individual blade files so I reuploaded. Download them again if you downloaded them in January 2021.
