I've always encountered issues with clamps not being sturdy enough and gradually warping until they crack. Additionally, there's a small ledge on my table that requires extra clearance between the clamp and the surface. To resolve this problem, I enlarged the backside of the clamp to make it stronger and added a small platform on top. This modification has worked flawlessly, even with PLA material. The clamp has been used in conjunction with an Asus tablet, which is significantly heavier than a Nintendo Switch.
