Strongarm 9-dart cylinder with lock
thingiverse
Human: Tinkerers take note - I've successfully remixed BellinghamXC's innovative Strongarm 9-dart cylinder to split in half and incorporate an orange lock. Building this modified cylinder is remarkably similar to the original 6-shot version, with one notable exception: the screws now enter from the front rather than the back. To ensure flawless performance, I strongly advise giving the barrels a thorough cleaning using a drill bit if you encounter any issues with blobs appearing on your prints. Blobs can cause darts to catch and scratch or tear, resulting in reduced velocity and a dwindling supply of working darts. Keep in mind that you may also need to use a drill to widen some screw holes to achieve a smooth assembly process. With this modification, you'll enjoy increased capacity - a definite plus for dart enthusiasts! Update 1: Check out Andjoe's creative remix of the outer cylinder, which has resulted in a stunning design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3614925 Andjoe also shared valuable insight: if the seal is too loose, simply packing the cylinder with tape will effectively tighten it up. I'm currently working on another version that replicates the same sealing mechanism as the injection-molded part. If I successfully complete this project, you can bet I'll be sharing it here.
