Strongarm 10 Dart Brass Cylinder (FIXED)
thingiverse
A modification of Megashock's 10 Dart "Free Spinning" Brassable Strongarm Cylinder is presented here. After experimenting with the parts, I found that their concept was sound but didn't translate well into practical application. The design will be explained in greater detail on the design tab for reference and improvement purposes. I strongly recommend printing this model using ABS as PLA may not withstand prolonged use due to its limitations. Top Designs 1 and 2 serve the same functional purpose, differing only in appearance. Choose your preferred option. The component hierarchy is structured as follows: Top > Brass > Bottom > Cylinder Lock > Mechanism > Gear > Spring > Spinner > Screw. Brass Requirements: Metric: To assemble this model, ten lengths of brass tubing measuring 62.5mm and 13.5mm in diameter are required. In total, approximately 0.63 meters of 13.5mm brass tubing will be needed. Inches: Ten lengths of 2.46 inches with a diameter of 17/32 inch brass tubing are also necessary for assembly. A total of roughly 25 inches of 17/32 inch brass tubing is required.
