Strong vertical Macbook/laptop stand

After trying out several makeshift stands on my MacBook, none of which held up to the rigors of frequent backpack travel or accidental desk knocks, I set out to create something sturdier and more reliable. My goal was to craft a robust, eye-catching vertical stand that would snugly cradle my 15-inch Macbook Pro Retina, yet remain adaptable enough to accommodate other similar laptops - or even scale up to fit larger ones.
