It grabs tightly and firmly while pulling... let it go and the clamp will release itself naturally. Opens wide enough to grasp a two-by-four. Holes for screws are five millimeters in diameter (thirty millimeters long). The hole for the rope is fourteen millimeters in size. The metal piece must be two millimeters thick, with a hole fifty millimeters apart. A standard hinge may work or you can design your own custom solution. A small spring is needed to open the clamp smoothly. Printed at one hundred percent infill with a layer height of point five millimeters and an eight-tenths of a millimeter nozzle.
