This is a heavy-duty face shield that's designed for reuse, with the visor easily removable for thorough cleaning. It consists of two printed components: the main headband and an optional nose support. A standard A4 sheet of 1mm clear PETG plastic is inserted into the frame after being carefully drilled and clipped in place. Additionally, a piece of elastic approximately 450mm long is securely attached to the assembly. To enhance comfort, a small piece of foam can be added inside the front band if desired. For proper installation, the PETG sheet must be drilled with a 5mm drill bit 10mm down from the top, one hole in the center and two additional holes on either side of it 78mm apart (center-to-center). The distance between the first and last holes should measure exactly 156mm for clarity. Next, cut the acrylic to a precise length of 210mm using a sharp knife, effectively making it square-shaped. Finally, carefully cut or sand the corners to ensure safety. I created this design to meet an urgent need for my friend in the healthcare industry, but its durability makes it suitable for various purposes.
