strong and thin belt
thingiverse
I set out to design the most robust belt imaginable with an exceptionally thin profile of only 4mm thickness and a generous width of 30mm. This ensures that it fits perfectly into all types of trousers. Version 03 boasts a 25% increase in strength compared to its predecessor, but does come with a slightly more challenging print process than Version 02. The belt measures between 870-990mm in length. If you require a different length, please don't hesitate to send me a message. To achieve the perfect balance of quality and efficiency, I've set the infill density at 15% and the number of perimeters at 4. You won't need a brim or any support structures for this design. Before embarking on the full print, I recommend starting with a test print of the file test04.stl to ensure that it moves smoothly and functions as intended. Once you've confirmed its performance, you can put it to the test by breaking it to assess its strength. If it passes your tests with flying colors, you're ready to print the entire belt. Please note that the full belt print may take anywhere from 10 hours or more, depending on your printer settings and optimization techniques. If you need a left-handed version of the belt, simply mirror the design in Cura for a seamless reversal.
