Strong and Beefy Christmas Tree Stand

Strong and Beefy Christmas Tree Stand

I built my own plant stand after researching various models online and being appalled by their exorbitant prices and flimsy construction. This one can comfortably hold a tree that's about two meters tall with a trunk diameter of 85mm, not counting any branch stumps. To assemble it, you'll need M10x30mm bolts for securing the legs and 4.9x19mm screws to keep everything together. If you prefer imperial screws or want to make adjustments to any dimensions, the attached CAD file will come in handy. I made the legs out of 12mm plywood, which is roughly half an inch thick. I didn't bother measuring the dimensions precisely; instead, I just cut them manually from whatever materials I found in my garage. However, the .dxf file attached has the specific dimensions that worked for me: 250mm long and 80mm high. I printed this stand on a Tevo Little Monster with a 0.6mm nozzle using Devil Design PETG. I used three outline layers and 10% infill, with a single solid infill layer at each of the 10mm fixation screw holes. While it's not strictly necessary, a higher infill percentage like 15 or 20% might give you more peace of mind.
