Stromer ST1x bike trailer adapter plate for Weber hitch

Stromer E-Bike requires a custom adapter plate to securely mount a trailer hitch near the rear axle. The original ST1x adapter, which is available for purchase, only fits Thule chariot hitches and does not support Weber hitches. To accommodate a Weber-Product hitch on the Stromer ST1x bike, a 45-degree setup is necessary. After reaching out to Weber for a mounting solution that would work with the ST1x adapter, they informed me that at present (November 17), there is no way to connect a Weber hitch directly to the ST1x bike. In response to this challenge, I took it upon myself to design my own custom solution. I have developed several designs for connecting a Weber hitch to the Stromer St1x bike. These designs can be printed as a test fit, but please note that they should not be used for actual trailer attachment on the ST1x bike. After testing the print, you will need to fabricate the parts using 4mm steel plate, and templates for this process are provided. Please be aware that any modifications made to your bike come with inherent risks, and it's essential to follow local regulations and laws regarding hitches and trailers on e-bikes.
