Stromberg HQ
thingiverse
Decided to give 3D modeling a shot today, something I've been itching to try for years but never had the time. Sizing is in millimeters and parts should fit perfectly on a 300x300 bed. Added a quarter section of the main dome to make printing easier. Alternatively, you can print it as top and bottom sections separately, each half below bed level. Understand that scaling may not match movie props exactly, but that's okay. Maybe an aquarium somewhere would love one of these at the bottom or just want some inspiration for others. Haven't tried printing yet, so let me know if you're interested in seeing how it goes. Updated Main Legs with more details and shorter length for lower dome, plus added parts for legs (June 27th). Cleaned up file names too. New Leg with extra detail (June 28th).
