I've been itching to create more complex pieces without any support required for a while now. My previous piece needed an excessive amount of it. Still working on another full character model that should be printable without support, but started free sculpting at Fab Lab Adelaide on the weekend and this incredible bust happened. What a fantastic session! Cleaned up and reworked some parts at home and released it into the world. I've thoroughly tested this piece on my Dremel 3D40 using Simplify3D for slicing. It should be perfectly fine printed at various sizes, whether smaller or larger. Please don't forget to share your finished prints if you decide to bring him to life! Here are some approximate polygon counts: Low = 110,000 polys, Mid = 528,000 polys, High = 1,573,000 polys. Worth noting - using a raft on this piece is highly recommended as it tends to fuse strongly with the print bed.
