Strix StratoSurfer Parts v1

UPDATE - 27 Feb 2018 I've removed the motor mount from this collection because the foam cowl design it attaches to won't support offset power and mass. Check out the "Power Set-up" section of the build page linked below for more details. Build Page: http://www.itsqv.com/QVM/index.php?title=Strix_StratoSurfer You can find additional parts on my Stratosurfer parts catalog page here: http://www.itsqv.com/QVM/index.php?title=Parts_Catalog_-_Strix_Stratosurfer I decided to try something new and having never built a Bixler-style plane (except for that one Penguin), the Strix StratoSurfer seemed like the perfect place to start. After reading lots about this plane, I chose a larger motor/prop combo. Here's a collection of parts I used for the first build of this airframe. General Print Notes: 1. All parts were printed in PushPlastics ABS filament 2. The motor mount and front & rear skids are printed at 80% infill, while all others are between 20-40% 3. Print orientation depends on printer/slicer set-up; rotate as needed
