Strix Goblin nose mount for RunCam Split
thingiverse
I printed an adapter for a friend to use in their Strix Goblin, as they were struggling to access the USB port and Micro SD card slot on the RunCam Split V2 board. Mounting the board required accessing the buttons, which was a bit of a pain due to its design. I came up with a solution by creating channels in the base of the holder for levers to run through. When the levers are pulled, they click the button into place. A plate sits on top of the lever slots to keep them secure. The stand-offs were also shaped to accommodate the metal plate that comes with the Split V2 board. Using this adapter and mounting the Split V2 as shown provides full access to all ports, including the USB port, WiFi board port, Micro SD card slot, and the levers allow both buttons to be used. The levers are long enough to work either directly mounted to the printed parts or with 5mm nylon stand-offs. If your first layer is squashed too much, you may find the levers a bit tight when using them for the first time. You can lightly sand their sides if needed, or what I did was simply slide them through the slots a few times until they move smoothly without any resistance.
