Inspired by Mel/TheTerrainTutor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDxQM7al1zg Drew up some roof shingles for future projects, aiming to replicate the look of cardboard or heavy paper with a more durable finish on a completed building. The primary reason for creating this design is that printing it requires minimal hands-on effort in contrast to cutting shingles using a hobby knife, scissors, or clippers, which appears to be time-consuming based on some tutorials. Load your slicer, scale the design to the desired size, multiply and overlap one or more shingles for longer strips, optionally mirror some for added variety, print, and let it build or paint while you work on other projects. Marked as a Work-In-Progress because I may add more variations in the future based on the types of buildings I plan to construct, with the current version suitable for a small cottage in the woods or village house, but not ideal for anything too elaborate.
