String / twine / cord tensioner with slots for easy use

I wanted some adjustable tensioners for my tablet loom, so I came up with these designs. They function effectively enough, although they wouldn't be as sturdy as tensioners featuring just holes. These could potentially be scaled up for use with rope. As constructed, the holes are roughly 2.5 mm in diameter (intended size: 3mm). I find that the slots make it simpler to thread the string into the tensioner compared to threading tiny holes.
