String Light bracket mount

String Light bracket mount

This is a simple little bracket I designed for hanging those string lights in my daughters bedroom that have become so popular. It's a simple little design that fits a #17 wire nail (got mine from home depot) where you can push it in and it is tight, stick the cable in the little cutout, push the bracket all the way to the ceiling (and I put it next to one of the bulbs to make the string tight) and hammer the nail on in. It's a simple little design that is easy to hold (because it's a little thick but also has fillets for fingers to hold) and the nail hole is tight so you have to push the nail in with a little force but it holds. The reason for that is I hate nothing more than to be up on a ladder and the nail fall out so that holds it in place nicely. I'll put up a picture when I can of it completed.
