I'm absolutely fed up with strimmers breaking down on me, and it's just so frustrating when I can't find a replacement part that fits my budget. It seems like every time one of these things breaks, the cost of a new spool is about half the price of buying an entire new strimmer! Over the years, I've had a few of these models break down on me, and it's always the same story - the spools themselves seem to be the weak link. This particular strimmer is just a generic no-name model that you can find in any store, so trying to get cheap spares is like searching for a needle in a haystack. However, I've discovered that many retailers use similar labels such as Challenge, Homebase, Powerbase, Tesco, and others, which makes it slightly easier to track down the parts I need. I've actually found a spare part on Amazon that fits this model - it's the Challenge Homebase Powerbase Sovereign MIGZP250, and you can find it here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Challenge-Homebase-Powerbase-Sovereign-MIGZP250/dp/B008AJOZLI
