Bosch ART23 strimmer blade design for 3D printing now available as an STL file compatible with ProDESKTOP 8 software, offered at £8 for a pack of 20 at B&Q stores. Having attempted to recreate the original model using my K8200 printer and experiencing minimal issues, I was impressed by its simplicity and ease of manufacture. Using high-quality 3mm clear PLA filament heated to 180c has yielded remarkably good results. Not only do these homemade strimmer blades perform as well as their expensive counterparts, but they are also significantly cheaper. In fact, since completing the initial prints and uploading them to Thingiverse, I have already produced a further two sets, making it even more apparent how cost-effective this 3D printing solution is.
