Strider Bell Adapter

Strider Bell Adapter

thingiverse

My kid was determined to add a bell to their Strider bike. The problem is that the bells at my local bike shop are designed for standard handlebar diameters, not a Strider's unique 0.5-inch diameter bar. But I've got a solution - my 3D printer can create a great adapter. This adapter should fit perfectly on anything designed for standard 25.4mm bars. I'm eager to see a photo of someone attaching their Garmin device to their kid's Strider and crushing some Strava times. I've included the Solidworks 2013 .prt file so you can easily remix and customize this part to your needs. To print, simply use ABS material with 0.2mm layer height and 25% fill. Any settings should work for this project though, as long as they are compatible with your 3D printer.
