Stribog Curved Mag Extension V5
grabcad
This extension for the Stribog mag adds a better cartridge stacking design and mimics an MP5. A long mag spring is required to use it effectively. The tolerances need to be optimized and the curve radius needs to be optimized, but it should be ready for 3D printing. SLICING: This assembly is intended for PETG or PLA+ and requires specific printing settings. Use a nozzle temperature of 247 C, a bed temperature of 80 C, a layer height of 0.02 mm, two wall counts, an infill of 10% with a cubic pattern, and a fan speed of 10%. ORIENTATION: This assembly was designed with layer orientation in mind. Printing it differently might result in failure. The magazine tube should be printed in the natural upright position, with the flat bottom on the build plate. The magazine cap should be printed on the front face, or the face pointing at your target. The strap should be printed upright with either u-shaped face on the build plate. SUPPORTS: Use tower supports with a zigzag pattern and 10% density. Set the roof density to 80% and the floor density to 100%. Use a brim adhesion layer, recommended with 20 lines.
