Stretchy Bracelet
thingiverse
This bracelet is designed to be stretchy, eliminating the need for a clasp; simply pull it over your hand and onto your wrist. It was partially inspired by Springamathing (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:12053) and MakeALot's link bracelet (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7354). At the request of nycdesigner, alternative designs are now available. The bracelet prints as a single layer thick with 0.4mm thickness, which is compatible with many printers. It was inspired by joris' trick from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8488, and Stretchlet1.stl can be used to create the same design with zero infill, extra shells, and solid layers. This model is also smaller in size and prints faster in OpenSCAD. The bracelet's inside diameter measures 55mm, so adjust as necessary. You can customize the parameters in the OpenSCAD file to achieve your desired diameter. Both ABS and PLA materials work well for this design.
