StretchBee
thingiverse
This is a quadcopter designed for 3-inch props. I don't know about the stretch hype train on quads, but I wanted to try one out! So far, it flies great! It'll fit the HQProp 3030's just barely (those are slightly oversized 3-inch props). I'm running DYS 1104 6500kv motors, VTX03, OMNIBUS Nano F3, and a 1000tvl camera right now. That may or may not be out of focus or just suck. I'm only running 2s right now, but it should run 3s just fine. I'm using 500mah 2s batteries, and the AUW is under 115g. MAIN VERSION "StretchBee_20x20_SlightlyStronger" fits the GreenBee camera mount and a 20x20 mounting fc but has just a little more material in critical areas for strength. The battery strap holder should also more closely match the one on the original green bee. A dxf file of this is posted in case you're interested in that. This is a dovetail of the GreenBee Project. My PETG print of this broke reasonably quickly, but that was at like 40% infill. The second print I did was in Taulman 910 at 60% infill and has proven to be stiffer and a lot stronger. So far so good! Should fit the following motor types: 1103, 1102/4/5, 1306, 1407. WANNA BUY IT IN CARBON? 3mm: https://armattanproductions.com/pages/product_details/7562 The 3mm is shown above with... so far so good at 15.15g. 4mm: https://armattanproductions.com/pages/product_details/7563 CCD CAM Mounts and Other Frame Options: I highly suggest (though haven't yet tested) a CCD cam mount from T4b_ he also has models for beefier builds perhaps more suitable for general purpose 3d printing and links to CARBON hexa and other quad versions: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1783281 OTHER VERSIONS One, "StretchBeeFullSized" does not fit the GreenBee camera mount. It does fit a standard sized fc though... in theory... I haven't tested it. *"345Stretch.stl"* - is the original one that I posted (as shown in the cad mockup).
